CIE Denim, a Manhattan-based jean company, is known for their unique, reconstructed jeans made from reclaimed denim. To fit the one-of-a-kind nature of their product, they needed a brand identity to match.
Based on a hand-drawn logotype, the final identity evolved into a combination of hundreds of deconstructed logotypes to form one, unique variation.

To replicate the recycled and reused nature of CIE Denim’s product line, I created a custom brand identity through the process of deconstruction and
reconstructing a hand-drawn logotype.
Through ripping, tearing and scanning hundreds of copies of the type, CIE's logomark became truly unique and one of a kind.
